Beauty concerns
Face serums: What are the benefits?
A face serum is an essential part of your beauty routine. It is a concentrated product containing targeted key ingredients that complement the effects of your day or night cream. Used daily, it works intensively on the skin to address specific concerns such as dehydration, ageing, lack of radiance, dark spots or blemishes.

Good habits:
Choose a face serum based on your Skincare needs
You should choose your serum based on your skin type and current concerns. If your skin feels tight or appears dehydrated, opt for a moisturising serum. Want to prevent or reduce the signs of ageing on your face and neck? Choose an anti-ageing serum. If your skin is dull, lacks radiance or has pigmentation spots, we recommend applying an anti-dark spot serum. Lastly, if you are looking to treat blemishes, you should go for a purifying and rebalancing serum.
How to incorporate a face serum into your routine
A face serum is a key part of your routine and has a very specific place in it. Start by cleansing your skin before applying a toner to prepare it to better absorb your Skincare. You can then use your serum morning and evening on your face and neck before finishing your routine with a day or night cream.
How to apply a face serum
To maximise the benefits of your serum, you must apply it properly. Place a few drops in the palm of your hand and gently warm the product by rubbing your hands together. Then gently massage your face and neck, moving from the centre outwards. Finally, give your serum time to absorb before applying your next Skincare products.

Frequently asked questions:
What is the difference between a toner and a serum?
A hydrating toner moisturises and prepares the skin for Skincare.
It is applied before your serum and after your cleanser. A face serum is a more targeted product that addresses specific concerns thanks to its high concentration of key ingredients.
What is the difference between a serum and a cream?
Serums target specific skin concerns such as wrinkles, dark spots, dehydration and blemishes with their finer, more deeply penetrating texture. Creams and moisturisers also contain powerful key ingredients and have the ability to moisturise and protect skin on the surface. When used together, their actions complement each other in your routine.
Can a serum be used on its own?
Using a serum on its own is not recommended. Although it’s highly concentrated in key ingredients and can target specific concerns, your face serum isn’t designed to lock in moisture and protect your skin. We recommend incorporating it into a complete skincare routine. Apply it after cleansing and before your moisturiser.
How often should I apply my face serum?
How often you use a serum depends on your skin and its particular concerns. It’s generally recommended to apply a serum to cleansed skin once or twice a day, in the morning and/or evening.
Can I apply several serums in the same routine?
Yes. You can use up to 2 or 3 serums in your beauty routine to target different skin concerns, such as wrinkles, lack of firmness and dark spots. Apply them from lightest to thickest, letting each serum absorb before applying the next.
Can a face serum be used as an intensive treatment?
Rather than an intensive treatment, we recommend using your serum throughout the year and adapting it to your skin’s current needs.
