"The 14 Best Face Masks Of All Time"

Aug 1, 2018

"Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask: This is the reason celebs skin looks so good on the red carpet. A secret staple in every makeup artist's bag, the coddling, ultra-luxe cream plumps and brightens skin in minutes (and can just be wiped off, not rinsed) before moving on to makeup."

"5 Face Masks to Try Before You Go Out Tonight"

Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask: "This guy is the queen bee of very pricey, very hydrating (and thus, worth it) face masks. First of all, it’s French. Jaime King and January Jones are fans. It promises 'Instant Youth', and that’s more or less what it delivers: bright, plumped-up, insanely soft skin that’s almost too pretty to cover up with makeup, so skip it if you can. If your skin is feeling dehydrated, go straight for this stuff—or pair it with one of the more exfoliating masks if you have time."

"Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask Is a Little Luxury in a Tube"

Sept, 2017

"There's a lot that makes Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask better than the 19 other masks I've got going. But let's just acknowledge right now that its $162 price tag is not one of its perks. That's 32 cappuccinos or 60 slices of pizza, and I do really like cappuccinos and pizza. But if you can see past that, keep reading.

One reason to pick Sisley's mask over a whole bunch of cappuccinos: It's even more comforting and relaxing. Don't get me wrong, I love when a face mask makes me dewy — and this one does — but the real reason I have so many masks is the same reason I love baths. It's so nice to have a minute to do nothing but relax. And since Sisley's mask isn't messy, it's so much more pleasant than a sheet mask that slides down my face (I'll pass). It comes in a tube, so you don't have to dip your fingers into a pot of clay. Its consistency is somewhere between a lotion and a cream, so you can move around without it dripping or crumbling off. It smells warm and a little flowery, which is really very cozy. And it's pink — OK, that's neither here nor there, but it is pretty.

Another check for Sisley: You don't have to wash it off. I get a little annoyed (told you, strong feelings) by taking off thicker cream and clay masks. I can never get them all off just by splashing my face with water, but I don't want to get a towel dirty, because in addition to being easily annoyed, I'm also a little lazy. I just wipe off Sisley with a cotton ball, and that's it.

Maybe it's because you don't take the mask off all the way, but the first time I used this I was surprised by how much better my skin looked afterward. My cheeks felt so smooth and looked so dewy, I was hooked. It was definitely a more dramatic change than I've gotten from a lot of other masks I've tried."

"Grab This Cult Face Cream Before It Sells Out"

June 12, 2017

"While we love our rose-spiked scents and palettes, the flower's use in skin care has us most excited — with one formula topping our wish list. It features not one, but four types of rose (oil and extract from the black rose, alpine rose extract, and may rose water). What is this cream we speak of? Sisley Paris' Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream.

Refinery29's beauty director Cat Quinn describes it as "heaven," noting that "it's a super light cream that feels like you're splashing cold water onto your face when you rub it on. I've been using it for three weeks and it makes my skin plump, bright, and break out-free."

The Best Moisturizer "I'm notoriously picky when it comes to skin care, and I absolutely adore this cream. It has a delicious, silky, lightweight texture that feels like cool water when you apply it. It’s like nothing else I’ve tried. I like to massage it in using a lymphatic drainage technique, and it leaves my skin plump, hydrated, smooth, and glowing. Aside from the incredible skin care benefits, the gorgeous rose scent will literally change your life."

"Sisley's High-Tech, New Moisturizer Makes My Skin Look Like an Actual Baby's"

Feb 13, 2018

"As a combination skin type, I'd settled on the idea that the best my skin could get out of a moisturizer was an $8 fragrance-free face lotion from the drugstore. No, it didn't make me glow to the gods, but moisturizer wasn't really meant to do that… right?

Right. At least, that's what I thought was right, until last year, when I was proven wrong by a little product called Sisley's Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream. After getting my hands on this one-of-a-kind moisturizer, I used it morning and night every day for four weeks, and my skin truly never looked plumper, clearer, or more idyllic.

Believe me when I tell you that the instant this formula touches your skin, it transforms from a rich, creamy texture to the refreshing feeling of actual water—I'd never felt anything like it. It absorbs right away and leaves the skin feeling absurdly soft. Not sticky, not greasy. Just naturally hydrated and smooth. Perfect for my combo skin.

What also makes me feel a little better about the heart-stopping price tag on this product is its unique, high-quality ingredient list. Fancy plant extracts like exfoliating hibiscus flower, plumping alkekengi calyx and padina pavonica, and alpine rose (a new, antioxidant-packed active) offer antiaging benefits.

Long story short, by the time I had scraped the last precious droplet out of the jar, I was heartbroken to see it go, but my face had never looked better. My pores had never looked clearer, and my complexion never looked glowier or more youthful.

"TheLIST: The 25 Best Skincare Brands"

"One of the pillars of luxury French skincare, Sisley Paris blends botanical extracts with anti-aging formulas that feel uniquely lush and decadent. This black rose dry oil is a savior for ultra-dry or sensitive skin. Just tap two or three drops over your favorite moisturizer to lock-in moisture all day long (the price feels a little less shocking when you realize just how long a single bottle lasts)."

"This may look and feel ultra-luxurious but it doesn't leave behind a greasy, sticky residue like some oils. Alongside omega 3 and 6, camelia oil prevents moisture from escaping, so skin feels plump and pillowy and looks glowing. Three drops is ample."
