Inspiration at the heart of creation

The story of Sisley fragrances is above all a story of memory and emotion. Each fragrance is conceived as a gift that reawakens a memory. Sisley creations tell the story of life, its precious moments and unforgettable places.

Eau de Campagne, for instance, captures the atmosphere of the garden in La Renaudière, the estate in the Berry region where the d’Ornanos love to get together. Izia was inspired by the memory of the rose gardens at the family castle in Lançut, Poland, which Isabelle d’Ornano wanted to recreate in her family home in central France, to see the unique rose at the heart of this fragrance blooming there. Meanwhile, Eau Rêvée d’Ikar draws its strength from the wild lands of Corsica, the family’s birthplace.

The most iconic example is undoubtedly Eau du Soir’s story. To create the perfume that he would subsequently offer his wife, Hubert d’Ornano was inspired by Isabelle d’Ornano’s childhood memories of strolling through the gardens of the Alcazar Palace in Seville. A hallmark of the brand since its launch, it is now passed down from generation to generation.

Exceptional know-how

Sisley's expertise in fine perfumery is based on an unwavering commitment to the quality of its compositions. At the heart of each creation lies a rigorous selection of natural essences and raw materials chosen for their rich scents. This unique know-how guarantees fragrances with a distinct character and an unmistakable trail.

Four major fragrance families

Sisley’s scented creations are divided into four distinct fragrance families. Chypre fragrances offer sophisticated, timeless scents, blending bewitching notes that hold out an invitation to travel. More spontaneous, citrus fragrances are distinguished by their invigorating notes for a light, energizing scent. The floral family celebrates romance with the soft and powdery scent of jasmine or rose. Finally, spicy fragrances bring a warm and mysterious dimension with their intense notes, often blended with woody or amber accords.

Perfumes as works of art

Sisley fosters a special relationship with the art world. This unique approach is embodied in a variety of artistic collaborations, such as with Polish sculptor Bronisław Krzysztof, who designed the caps and bottles for most of the house’s fragrances.

Artists are also invited to revisit the Eau du Soir bottle each year. English illustrator Fee Greening, French-American artist Sydney Albertini and painter Ymane Chabi-Gara, winner of the Sisley Young Creator Award, have in turn transformed it into a desirable collector’s item available for a limited time only.

Prolong the fragrance experience

Sisley has made some of its iconic fragrances available in the form of bath and body care products, which turn your everyday routine into a delicately scented wellness ritual. This fragrance world also comes to the heart of the home with scented candles, designed to fill the atmosphere with subtle notes and create a warm ambience in every interior.
