The story of Sisley fragrances is above all a story of memory and emotion. Each fragrance is conceived as a gift that reawakens a memory. Sisley creations tell the story of life, its precious moments and unforgettable places.
Eau de Campagne, for instance, captures the atmosphere of the garden in La Renaudière, the estate in the Berry region where the d’Ornanos love to get together. Izia was inspired by the memory of the rose gardens at the family castle in Lançut, Poland, which Isabelle d’Ornano wanted to recreate in her family home in central France, to see the unique rose at the heart of this fragrance blooming there. Meanwhile, Eau Rêvée d’Ikar draws its strength from the wild lands of Corsica, the family’s birthplace.
The most iconic example is undoubtedly Eau du Soir’s story. To create the perfume that he would subsequently offer his wife, Hubert d’Ornano was inspired by Isabelle d’Ornano’s childhood memories of strolling through the gardens of the Alcazar Palace in Seville. A hallmark of the brand since its launch, it is now passed down from generation to generation.
