The Sisley-d’Ornano Foundation was created in 2007 to provide a framework for the charitable work and sponsorships led by the company. The Foundation is under the auspices of the Fondation de France.
THE FATHER GILBERT ASSOCIATION
Founded by Guy Gilbert, the “hoodlums’ priest,” for more than thirty years the Association has housed troubled youths from all backgrounds at the Bergerie du Faucon with the goal of helping them reintegrate into society. Youths learn to live together, take care of animals, and are taught by a team of educators. In 2011, the Sisley Foundation financed the renovation and rehabilitation of the main building at the Bergerie du Faucon in order to allow it to continue its activities.
NATURE AND ADVENTURE
Created by Didier Van Hofe, a teacher at the Lycée de Gennevilliers, this association organizes trips, mainly in the far North, for children from underprivileged areas or those who suffer from handicaps. The Sisley Foundation supported these expeditions for 4 years. The last one was organized in the Tierra del Fuego.
For ten years, this foundation has effectively fought against malaria, water shortages, and the poverty and malnutrition associated with these issues in isolated villages on the Indonesian island of Sumba. The Sisley Foundation financed a biodiesel power station, a truck, and for the last several years, an emergency food program for 120 children, as well as the operation of a school cafeteria for 300 children. Each year, these projects are monitored on site.
ELISABETH D’ORNANO ASSOCIATION
Created by Elisabeth d’Ornano, this Spanish association has developed, with the help of psychiatric experts, modules aimed at better informing parents, teachers, and pediatricians on issues related to attention difficulties and hyperactivity in children and adolescents, and the methods for effectively treating these issues. These modules are available in three languages on the association’s website, and conferences and training sessions have been organized in schools. The Sisley Foundation supports its operations and endeavors.
FRANCO-ASIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
For many years this association has fought so that the poor and impoverished populations in Myanmar have access to a decent level of healthcare. In doing so, the association has helped 11 hospitals and 19 clinics that are located for the most part in Myanmar. In 2012, the Sisley Foundation took control of the operations of a clinic.
LOOK GOOD, FEEL BETTER
Designed for women who are undergoing cancer treatment, this association brings together volunteers from the world of skincare and cosmetics who share the same desire to “give sick women a positive outlook on life.” Along with other brands in field, the Sisley Foundation provides cosmetic care and treatments to patients in the hospital.
SISLEY- JÉRÔME LEJEUNE INTERNATIONAL PRIZE
The Jérôme Lejeune Foundation works for people affected by genetic cognitive disorders and is the top financial supporter of research in this area in France. The Sisley Foundation supports a Sisley-Jérôme Lejeune International Prize for therapeutic research. In 2010, this prize was given to Spanish professor Mara Dierssen and, in 2011, to American professor William Mobley.
FUNDS FOR PALLIATIVE CARE – THE RESEARCH OF DOCTOR ANNE AUVRIGNON
At the heart of RIFHOP (the Ile-de-France network for pediatric hematology-oncology), Dr. Anne Auvrignon has developed a research program to improve the practice of palliative care for children. Confronted with the specific drama and trauma of serious diseases in children, the medical community and the children’s families are often helpless. This study aims to help them improve their care. Through the Funds for Palliative Care, the Sisley Foundation has supported a part of this study that will end in 2013 and will be rolled out beyond just these hospitals in the Ile-de-France area. “UN AVENIR ENSEMBLE” [“A Future Together”] ASSOCIATION
Led by the Grand Chancery of the Legion of Honor, this foundation brings together deserving young high school students chosen by their schools with mentors who accompany them from their first term in school to their first job. In addition to its financial contribution, six mentors from the Sisley Company and the Sisley Foundation have, for three years, mentored six “mentees.”
INSEAD BUSINESS SCHOOL
For 15 years, the Sisley company and now the Fondation Sisley have funded a grant dedicated to highly deserving Polish students admitted to INSEAD. This program is not provided systematically each year: it depends on the quality of the candidacies presented by the school.
RESTORATION OF FRESCO ON DOME OF NOTRE-DAME DE L’ASSOMPTION (PARIS)
The Fondation Sisley has partnered with the French government, the Fondation du Patrimoine and the City of Paris, owner of the premises, to restore the fresco on the dome of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption church. This church, located in the heart of the capital at 263 bis rue Saint Honoré, became the church of the Poles of Paris in 1844. The fresco was created in the XVIIth century by Charles Delafosse, a disciple of Le Brun and the designer of the frescos on the domes of the Invalides and the Château de Versailles chapel. The Fondation Sisley is funding approximately half the work, which is scheduled for completion in November 2013.

LA BEAUTE IENT DE NOS QUARTIERS
With the Prefecture and the Chamber of Commerce of Val-d’Oise, where its own research center is located, Sisley is funding and participating in a cosmetics and beauty vocational training program during the 2012-2013 school year. This program is open to twelve women from the underprivileged districts of department 95, selected by a jury for their motivation and their ability to succeed. In one year, the students of the Sisley program prepare a work/study CAP (professional certificate) as a first step towards a job in the perfume industry.
