" This highly pigmented felt tip pen gave me the opportunity to play with ease. Glide the pen in a gradual motion above the socket and use the crease line to guide you when creating the outer wing. It’s applying the same principles as you might with a regular winged eyeliner but above the socket eye for a fun yet polished look."

" Create an angled line on the outer edge on the eye, draw inwards towards the lash line and fill in the gap. This acts as a stencil and enables you to check the flick height and direction which helps with symmetry."

" I love the shape of the brush; it coats the lashes from root to tip giving a fuller thicker lash! "

" Graphic geometric eyeliner is a beauty trend that is still circulating, with bold colours or sophisticated black. This floating winged eyeliner that sits above the crease makes a big impact plus creates room to add your favourite eyeshadow to the mix. "

" I wanted to create a winged look to show the effects of the Ligne Noire Liner. I love these 60s takes on winged liner with the exaggerated lashes drawn underneath. My goal was to incorporate this into a modern beauty look, with minimal skin, keeping the eye as the focus.

To do this I started with the wings on top, once I could see this on the face it was easier to draw the lashes underneath - the Ligne Liner has a very fine tip which makes any precise lines much easier. For someone wanting to try a more simplified version of the look, one way would be either trying much thinner lashes on the bottom that mimic their natural lashes, or even just one or two in the outer corners. "

" There are so many! But I always find it easiest to break the shape into a few sections (the actual wing, outer half of eye, inner eye) rather than trying for one fluid swoosh. And make sure to have some cotton tips and eye make up remover on hand to sharpen any lines. "

" My favourite thing about Phyto-Noir is that not only do you get the incredible volumising effect, there is also the added benefits of lash growth and strengthening over time."

What's the appeal of a statement eye for your makeup?

" It has such a transformative quality. A statement eye can completely change the feel of an outfit perhaps making it more edgy, feminine or sexy depending on the style. It can almost be like an accessory to tie a look together, or update something you might have worn in the past for a completely different vibe. "

“ I like to create a fine line starting at the centre of the lash and extending to the outer corner of the eye. Then the mascara only at the roots of the lash for that natural cat eye”
