The Padina pavonica extract comes from harvesting this brown alga, also known as peacock’s tail.
The Padina pavonica used for our extract is grown in the Mediterranean. It is gently harvested by hand to avoid the use of any machines likely to damage the marine ecosystem.
This harvesting is done when the alga has well-developed thalli, which contributes to their natural regeneration, year after year.
