Eau du Soir, Sisley’s most iconic fragrance, reveals a dreamlike new side. This unique interpretation, envisioned by artist Marie-Victoire de Bascher, brings a touch of fantasy to a timeless classic.

For this limited edition, the Parisian artist pays tribute to the fragrance's origins: a stroll through the lush gardens of Seville’s Alcazar in Spain. Like a branch suspended between sun and moon, she captures the fleeting magic of the syringa flower at dusk. This captivating atmosphere comes to life in her illustration—a delicate violet bloom, elegantly accented in gold, reflecting the fragrance’s enchanting spirit.

An artistic creation that enhances the signature trail of Eau du Soir: an elegant, timeless composition of floral, chypre, and spicy notes.

The name 'Eau du Soir' captures a special memory and pays a poetic tribute. Created by Hubert d'Ornano as a token of eternal love for his wife Isabelle, this fragrance evokes a romantic stroll through the gardens of the Alcázar in Seville, Andalusia. It takes its name from the oncoming dusk – the precise moment when the sun sets and the mock-orange blossoms open, releasing their enchanting fragrance. It is this magical atmosphere, suspended between day and night, that inspired this chypre fragrance.

Eau du Soir belongs to the chypre fragrance family, a historical high-end category in French perfumery.

Chypre perfumes are complex fragrances often composed of accords of oakmoss, cistus labdanum, patchouli, bergamot, jasmine and rose. Renowned for their unique character, at once fresh and woody, they offer a natural, timeless sophistication.

In Eau du Soir, this iconic composition is enhanced by a burst of zesty citrus notes (mandarin, grapefruit) and an intense floral heart with rose and jasmine notes that blend with mock orange blossom. The woody, sensual base notes give this chypre fragrance its iconic and instantly recognisable scent.

The fragrance remains exactly the same. The bottle, however, is periodically redesigned in keeping with new artistic inspirations. These limited editions transform your fragrance into a unique collector's item whilst remaining true to its original composition.

To get the most out of Eau du Soir, we recommend applying it to your pulse points (wrists, the nape of the neck, and behind the ears). To prolong and enhance the fragrance, you can follow a complete routine by layering: start with the Perfumed Bath and Shower Gel, then apply the Moisturising Perfumed Body Cream, which gently infuses your skin with your favourite notes. Finally, for perfect harmony all day long, complete your routine with the Perfumed Deodorant from the same range.

Its citrusy top notes make it the perfect choice for daytime wear for a woman (or a man) looking for a fragrance that exudes distinction and presence.Although its name evokes the falling of night, Eau du Soir is, above all, a fragrance that expresses personality. With its powerful sillage and distinctive scent, it is perfect for anyone looking for a fragrance that stays with them all day long whilst revealing its sophistication on more formal occasions or in the evening.
