Rachel Goodwin x Sisley-Paris: So Volume Mascara

So Loud. So Sensitive. So Opinionated. We're told to tone it down. Speak softly. Cry less. Smile more.

After spending the last two decades behind the makeup chair talking with women from all walks of life, renowned makeup artist Rachel Goodwin knows that the very things we may perceive as flaws are actually our greatest superpowers.

To celebrate the launch of Sisley’s new So Volume Mascara, Rachel has brought together 13 women in her life that she greatly admires, to applaud the parts of their personalities they’ve learned to love about themselves and to celebrate each woman’s unique spirit. “Makeup has always been my way of helping women connect to the various parts of their personalities that make up who they are,” she says. “Mascara has a way of making us feel like a bigger, bolder version of ourselves. And that is what I hope to emphasize with this deeply personal campaign.”

Mascara is the one beauty product with the power to unite women of all ages, ethnicities, and skin tones; one universally flattering product with the ability to elicit wide-ranging emotion in just a few seconds. In her twenty plus years in the beauty industry working on the faces of women such as Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Cindy Crawford, Julia Roberts and Penelope Cruz, to name a few, Rachel has come to understand that the transformative effects of make-up are rooted in empowerment and self-love. Make-up for her is not about vanity or the quest for perfection; but rather a tool for each woman to be able to channel her own unique beauty and express her true self.

With the launch of So Volume Mascara, Sisley joins Rachel in celebrating the powerful emotions that only an exceptional mascara can inspire. New So Volume Mascara stirs up such meaningful feelings by offering instant triple benefits. Lashes are coated for a thickened, extra-full appearance, visibly curled, and noticeably defined.

Rachel is asking you and your community of extraordinary women to celebrate the qualities that make you, YOU. What are you “So?” What is your “So” story?
