“The Miami Design District offers a vibrant, high-end shopping destination within an innovative and architecturally significant environment" says James Maki, President of Sisley United States. "The boutique will appeal to the shopper who is truly looking to make themselves at home within a pampered shopping experience. We are so pleased to be joining such a fantastic collection of luxury retailers this fall.”
When he founded Sisley in 1976, Hubert d’Ornano chose to market the brand very selectively, only in the most prestigious points of sale, in order to offer clients quality advice on the selection and use of products. Sisley remains a family-owned company to this day and the influence of the d’Ornano family is ever-present in the new Miami boutique location, while still paying homage to the Design District’s unique artist flare.
All Sisley boutiques are designed to reflect the high-end and luxurious nature of our products while maintaining a serene aesthetic that feels very inviting. The floor will feature polished concrete native to the space with product displays in designer white corian and aged brass that almost appear to be “floating.” This new design element is exclusive to the location and provides a fresh perspective on the full collection. Accents such as soft, blue upholstery and hammered parchment majilite wall coverings offer an elegant yet calming atmosphere. As a final element of the family’s personal touch, Madame d’Ornano hand selected a stunning chandelier comprised of several interwoven brass rings of different sizes from Quasar in Holland.
In celebration of the city’s developing arts community, Madame d’Ornano has commissioned an art competition between 10 students from the University of Miami, FIU and the Miami Art Institute, and the winning work will be installed on the main wall of the flagship boutique.
