The fragrance opens with highly sophisticated top notes: white bergamot from Calabria, accentuated with hints of freesia and tea, introduces brilliance and clarity, which are emphasised with aldehydes. With its lemony, sparkling facets, pink peppercorn subtly enhances the uplifting bergamot.

This floral accord is a faithful recreation of the scent from The d'Ornano rose with its unique lemony scent and refreshing pear notes. It reveals a heart both rich and radiant, exalted by the luminous whisper of fresh petals of jasmine, peony and lily of the valley. Vibrant, green angelica adds powdery, leafy nuances to the bouquet.

In its depth, the woody warmth of cedar is enveloped in a voluptuous Amber note.A richness of its own, it has musky and woody tones. The bottle

Designed by Bronislaw Krzysztof

The bottle

Isabelle d'Ornano asked her friend, the Polish sculptor Bronislaw Krzysztof, to design the bottle of Izia. An abstract glass sculpture, like two pebbles on a beach, placed one on top of the other, smoothed by the sea. The rose colored glass plays with light reflections changing from pink to golden, reminiscent of the heart of the Izia rose.
